Being fitted where all the salt and spray is we know that the zinc plated ones rust after the spring has scraped off the zinc. Keeps the spring as near vertical as possible and the smooth shoulder relocates the spring easily. The rears for Range Rover Classics, Discoverys and Defender 90s are all this style as well as the fronts for all models. The 110 rears are a slight cone.
