An extra strong Impact Grade Socket for removing and refitting the wheel hub retaining nuts found on Discovery II and Range Rover P38 front and rear axles.

The nuts retain the wheel hubs to the drive shafts and must be replaced when servicing the axle hubs, shafts and bearings.

These nuts are extremely tight (Torque = 490NM/360lb/ft) and are staked so cannot be safely or easily worked with standard socketry.

This 6 point, ultra tough impact grade socket is 1/2 inch drive and coupled with an Extra Long 1/2 Inch Drive Breaker Bar will defeat even the most stubborn of those incredibly tight, staked wheel hub nuts.
