NB: Front Axle Swivel Housings can be filled with Gear Oil as per tables above or 'One Shot Grease'. One Shot Grease was introduced by Land Rover to cut down leakage from the swivels but at the same time the swivel bushes were changed to steel taper bearings top and bottom. However one shot grease should not be used in Series Land Rovers or early 90 or 110 vehicles (up to VIN No KA930455) since these will have a Railko type top bush in the Swivel Housings and these are best splash lubricated by gear oil.
